Through my artwork I want to transfer the energy of dance that could not leave anyone indifferent. During the sculpting process, I remember hearing the rhythm of heels, seeing developing Spanish dress and graceful dancing female's body.

Sculpture "Don Quixote" is inspired by Novel by Miguel de Cervantes. Don Quixote is a middle-aged gentleman from the region of La Mancha in central Spain. Obsessed with the chivalrous ideals touted in books he has read, he decides to take up his lance and sword to defend the helpless and destroy the wicked.

THE BABY'S RESCUE

The artist was inspired from the biblical story. The murder of the newborn babies is an episode of the New Testament story, described only in the Gospel of Matthew. King Herod, having learned from the Magi about the impending birth of the Messiah, fearing competition, orders to kill all children of a suitable age. Jesus Christ was saved thanks to the flight to Egypt, and John the Baptist - thanks to the parting rock where his mother hid.

The long neck of the swan striving into the sky reveals a bright compositional force that will rise from the ground in a moment. With this sculpture I tried to inspire the viewer to rise from the ground and experience the bliss of flight.
